Keep our members of the military paid as a priority above approving a salary increase for members of Congress.

Created by R.Y. on January 16, 2013

This is the second year in a row that members of the military are having to deal with the added stress of not receiving a pay check due to the failure of establishing a budget that benefits all citizens of this country. However, members of Congress are allowed to vote on their own pay increases. The military has successfully accomplished missions tasked by the government and do so with the knowledge that there are chances they will not return home. Yet this sacrifice is now met for the second year in a row with the added stress that they may deploy and put themselves in harms way for a government that is willing to cancel their paychecks. All while those same members of Congress sit behind the safety of their desks and bodyguard voting for their own pay increase.
