Piers Morgan has a right to his opinion under the 1st Amendment. He is not forcing us to believe what he believes, but merely voicing his opinion to the American people through popular media on what he thinks about the 2nd Amendment in a public atmosphere on the issue. To deport this man based solely on his opinion would not only inane, but would also be in violation of both the Constitution and the principles of the ACLU, both protecting the rights of U.S. citizens and foreign people in the U.S. alike; since treason has not been committed, logic therefore dictates that there is no reason to deport a man who is simply voicing his opinion that speaks for many. He is not asking us to throw away our guns, but rather suggesting that we perform stricter checks to keep guns from being misused.
