Keep Public Lands Open To The Taxpayer

On January 2nd a small group of armed terrorists took the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon from the American public. Many of the main actors in the takeover have participated in similar actions in the past. To date they have not been held accountable or faced any repercussions for their illegal actions. This petition calls on the federal government to hold these extremists legally responsible for taking public property from the American taxpayer, to pay restitution to the taxpayer for the resulting financial loss, and to hold them accountable for their past illegal actions.
