Public spaces are meant to be enjoyed and used by all citizens and should not be restricted to one time that fits only a few peoples schedules. Parks and cemeteries were originally closed at night under the assumption that illicit activities and vandalism would occur, but statistics show that it has increased since the curfews were imposed, and having more people using the parks at night helps to stop vandalism. The people have every right to use the spaces they pay for with their taxes, and build with their communities. Recreation and visiting loved ones who have past away should not be limited to strict daylight hours
