We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Keep Segregation Out Of Our Schools

Created by K.J. on May 29, 2016

Recently in the state of Mississippi there have been actions taken to segregate the schools. It may be the only case in the news right now but it's happening all over the country-especially in the South. Our society is going backwards instead of progressing and it needs to stop. Desegregation had been proven to improve minority's lives in many ways- they are more likely to graduate, more likely to get higher paying jobs, improved health, go to college, etc. Segregation is basically the government telling the minorities that their lives are less important than their white counterparts and we, as a nation, need to tell the government we will not stand for this.
