Keep Smokers Out of National Parks

Created by F.A. on January 29, 2014

While smoking is a liberty of this nation anyone could perform, it is also a safety hazard to our national parks during a dry season. A cigarette which is not properly put out and dumped on dry grasses or leaves could cause a forest fire which would in return could destroy homes and wilderness and will cost taxpayers money to repair and lives. This should not be a full-time ban, but a ban when parks are open and the conditions are favorable for wildfires.
