Keep Stafford And Other Student Loans At The Fixed Rate Of 1% Throughout The Duration Of The Loan Without Fluctuation.

Created by B.G. on July 01, 2013

In order to keep America's College Bound Students out of as much student loan debt as possible we propose that the current rate of 3.4 percent interest rate is way too high for students looking for work once they finish college. As this proposal is being written, unless congress acts by July 1, 2013, today, then the interest rate goes up to 6.8 percent, double the current amount. We claim that we want our country to have better educated students yet we make it unaffordable for people trying to better themselves through higher education. By lowering the interest rate it will allow more people to register and attend school. This will in turn make more money for the schools and the government will benefit financially from getting more graduates into higher tax brackets. Keep Loan Rates Low!
