Keep the state of Alaska part of the United States

Created by R.T. on March 28, 2014

The state of Alaska is rightfully ours. The country of Russia cannot rightfully ask for it back. It interferes with our economy, and the electoral college. Giving Alaska back to Russia will violate the rights of Alaskan citizens. Property rights come into play. The US bought Alaska. The state of Alaska is rightfully ours. Our taxpayer money was used to better the state of Alaska, not Russia. We the people with our tax money supported the road systems and public funding present in Alaska. Giving the state back would be a violation of our rights. Russia will steal all the benefit of the peoples tax dollars without any pay. Regardless of Russia's offer, the United States rightfully owns the land we call Alaska.
