There is much talk about expanding visas and giving special immigration status to high tech workers. Why? We have many qualified people here already and more are graduating daily. I know of several college kids getting ready to graduate with tech degrees in computer engineering, computer science, etc. These students have taken on substantial loan debt and much personal effort in order to earn these high cost degrees. Why give their jobs away to foreign workers who have no skin in the game? Our high-paying jobs need to stay in the U.S. or our economy will go down the drain in more ways than one.
