Keep terrorist Oscar Lopez in prison

Created by P.R. on December 07, 2016

President Obama, you have demonstrated firmness against terrorism. If a small group desires independence from the US, they must not force their desires on the majority. Use the vote. Oscar López rejected Clinton’s clemency in 1999. López was sentenced to prison in 1981, increased by 15 years for trying to escape. His sentence will be done in 2051. Setting him free will set a bad example. López support of FALN resulted in at least five deaths and over 70 wounded in the U.S. It might be small compared to 9/11 but still a terrorist’s crime. “If you do the crime you must do the time.” We do not need to encourage terrorists by being soft with them. Terrorists have not been soft with us. You have been a strong President against terrorism, please do not stain that image, that legacy.
