Keep the UN out of our election process. We are the most free and democratic country!

Created by S.M. on March 14, 2012

The NAACP has recently asked the UN to examine our election process due to voter-ID laws. The UN has no authority to tell states within the US to pass or not pass laws. They don’t have the authority to tell the federal government in Washington to do so, either. The U.N. Human Rights Council members include communist China and Cuba. In addition, several Arab nations are on the council that have only granted the right to vote to women in recent years, such as Kuwait in 2005 and Qatar in 2003. Women in the Republic of Moldova have had the right to vote for less than 20 years. We are the most free and democractic nation in the world and do not need these nations examining our election process.
