Keep the USPS in tack by allowing them to be empowered to manage themselves independent of the Congress.

Created by N.B. on December 05, 2011

We can save the USPS and all the critical jobs it provides for American workers with out increasing Taxes and in time eliminate all the Tax burden

The USPS needs to be able to manage itself as a break even business. The current Congress is motivated to privatize all government services as private business will finance Lobby activities, where government services like the USPS are hog tied by Congress.

EXAMPLE-Increasing postage to 45 cents won't save the many 1,000 of jobs that will be lost but maybe 75 (or XX) cents would make the difference. Yes, the internet is reducing the demand for USPS services, but I don't think UPS or Fed EX will be cheeper to mail a letter. Not everyone can afford or has a computer. Some seniors need the USPS.

Congress is the problem!
