Our Senators and Congressmen make around $175,000 annually.
This is an exorbant and inflated wage for someone in a position that should treat it as a privilage, not a right.
I respect that it's not the easiest job in the world running a country, but the honorable title of Congressman, or Senator is now looked upon as a job full of thieves and liars instead of our nations leaders.
I propose we lower the wages of our Senators and Congressmen to $51,017, the national average income for Americans this past year, until the national debt has been lifted.
