The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power plant has been leaking contaminated water ever since it was hit with a major Earthquake in 2011. Since then the Pacific Ocean has almost been entirely contaminated with extreme radiation. Now, the radiated water has begun to reach the west cost of the united states, on top off all the contaminated fish a good chunk of our food source.
In addition to radiated water. Plumes of radioactive steam is now leaking from the plant into the atmosphere, and in 2 to 3 days, can reach the US.

Plans on how to deal with, and hopefully stop the radiation has begun to hit us in our ocean beaches and atmosphere, Direct Government aid in the cleanup and decontamination at the fukushima plant, and UN involvement.
