To keep White House Tours open to the public regardless of cost. The White House belongs to the American people.

Created by J.M. on March 08, 2013

White House tours of an important part of our society. The White House belongs to the American people. It is the residence where the President and his famly live and conduct business. This right is given to them by being elected to that office. It has been open to the public for years and to start cuts by ending tours is taking away our rights as American citizens to see the history and foundation on which our country was based. By President Obama cutting costs to end the tours he is taking away our freedom to visit one of the most prestigious landmarks of our government and history. Cuts can be made on trips, unnecessary security for going to dinner out in public, markups on government spending, etc.
