Our constitution allows all US citizens the freedom of religion, even if they do not have one. So the question is why do atheists have the right to have the words removed, while religious citizens seem to have no rights in these regards. The words "...under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, on our legal tender have a historical value also, which we as citizens should be proud of, no matter if times and our opinions have changed. We betray the history of our country and the sacrifices of our forefathers. They did not have a single religion either and some of them might have been atheists too, but they believed in our country and did not challenge petty claims. they focused on the important issues and applied common sense. E Pluribus Unum!
