Khojaly genocide – is a genocide committed by Armenians Armed Forces and Russian regiment No 366 at night of February 25 to 26, 1992 while occupying Khojaly city against the Azerbaijanis.
This tragedy occurred during the Nagorno-Garabakh conflict is one of the most terrible events.
On the night of February 25 to 26 Armed forces of Armenia using armored equipment and military personnel of the 366th motorized infantry regiment left from the Soviet-era in Khankendi (Stepanakert) had occupied Khojaly. Before the attack, in the evening of February 25 the heavy artillery fire was shot. As a result, on February 26 at about 5 o'clock in the morning, Khojaly was in fire entirely.
