The politicians in the state of Texas at the federal and state level have repeatedly shown themselves to be an embarrassment to the United States of America and proven that the state is entirely dysfunctional.
Considering the lack of true patriotism and the overwhelming hatred of the federal government by the vast majority of Texans, they no longer deserve to remain as active participants in our government and shape our federal policy.
This state is a tumor on the side of our great nation and we cannot progress forward with this ignominious lump weighing us down.
Since many conservative Texans have already considered secession as a result of Barack Obama's election, I motion that we give them what they want by forcing them out of the union!
