The electoral college has outlived its usefulness. It's been subjected to so much gerrymandering, that it is almost impossible to get a fair and accurate vote of the people. The Republican party is continually moving vote-counting around to their benefit, and not all delegates to the college can be trusted to vote the way the People has asked them to. So it's time to dispense with a system that is depriving all Americans to have their voice heard.
Let the American people vote for who they want. They don't need any middlemen who can easily be bought off. We don't need anymore "redistricting." We just need to know that who we vote for will be elected based on the popular vote.
