It is the wish of these signers for the President Obama to kindly follow the example of the economics he constantly espouses. He should donate the entirety of his salary and all accounts save for his expense account to charity and live off of this amount for one year. He should also donate any other income he receives, such as from book sales, stipends, dividends, etc. for that same period. The President constantly claims to understand the hardships of the middle and lower class while living in the White House with his every need tended to. Given the amount of his salary and benefits alone this is doubtful. If the President will agree to these terms the signers of this petition will agree to support further action in the direction of the President's choosing.
