The KKK is historically known for using violence and terror on American Citizens. The group still is using violence to this day but is also being protected by officials arguing the freedom of speech.
American citizens know we have the freedom of speech but the freedom of speech does not allow speech that causes fear or is intentionally inflicting severe emotional distress.
Also the KKK being a terrorist group has less to do with their words and more to do with their actions.
The bottom line is the KKK is both racists and terrorists. Racist because the group believes the White race is superior to all races and terrorists because of their undenied use of violence.
