The citizens of Arizona, and the United States in total, wish it known that the extremists pushing for separation are in the minority. Whatever our political affiliation, in agreement or disagreement with the current administration, we love our country, and are proud to be Americans.
We urge you to be understanding of those calling for separation in anger, and know that they speak out of desperation, and are good people. We want you to remember that we are a nation of the people, for the people, and by the people, and that we recognize our strength is in our unity. We have no wish to separate, but to join closer to our 49 brethren states, and, if we are lucky, to see our 51st state, Puerto Rico, add another star to Old Glory soon.
