Allowing consumers to pay for only the programs they want to view would save money for consumers. It would also have the effect of getting rid of programs that not enough people want to see. It would force the developers to improve their programs or go out of business. They would no longer be a monopoly and would actually have to compete for viewers.
If you don't watch Sports, you won't pay for them. If you like movies, you can pay for the channel with the best movie offerings. (And they will get better !)
If you don't watch the FOOD channel , don't pay for it. If you don't have children and don't watch cartoons, Don't pay for them !
