Common sense and the ability to use one's ability to reason is not all that common as the name leads us to believe. It is in fact rare and majority of Americans do not in fact possess this ability. In fact it is probably the closest people get to supernatural abilities as when someone makes a recommendation to do something based on logic and reason those around them often have to have it explained to them in simpler terms that they can comprehend. It is for this reason that we petition the government to allow common sense to be classified as a superpower and recognized as the above average ability that it is.
