In 1986 the International Whaling Commission banned whaling in the worlds oceans. 26 years later this is being ignored. the Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR) has been preforming whaling operations in the Ross Sea near McMurdo Sound which is US territory under the Antarctic Charter. Australia and New Zealand have banned whaling in this area the US needs to do the same both in Antarctica and on US soil instead of suing the groups who want it stopped. sign the petition and tell Obama to support the rest of the world and get ICR out of McMurdo Sound
