Label the Ku Klux Klan as a terrorist organization

The Ku Klux Klan was created out of white supremacy and has a goal of ridding those who are not "ethnically pure". The group has a history of lynching, robbery, property destruction, and other acts of terrorism which continue to this day. There have been many local movements to ban the KKK from local towns by classifying the group as terrorists (such as Charleston), though no move by the federal government has been made to stop this domestic terrorist organization. The KKK is also a lingering establishment from the darkest times of American history. The banning of the group would show that the government is with the people in creating a nation where peoples can be safe from ideals of the KKK.
