The MRA, Or Men's Rights Movement, is a confused group of misogynists who focus on hate, contempt, and abhorrence of women. They feel entitled to a women's body and a disregard for their anatomy. On May 24th of 2014, Gunman in California's mass shooting Elliot Rodgers was influenced by the Men's Rights Movement, he felt entitled to have sex with women and blamed women for not providing him with sex. He acted on hatred targeting college girls in a drive by shooting killing seven including himself and wounding seven. Male entitlement is dangerous and pervasive. The California tragedy needs to go beyond gun laws and mental health and discuss that the root problem is misogyny and where that stems from, and the inability to properly deal with rejection. Men do not own women.
