The NRA has recently posted a list of National Organizations, Figures, Corporations, and Individuals that are considered to have 'Anti-Gun Positions.' The list includes organizations from the ACLU, the NAACP, to church and hospital affiliated groups. In addition to listing the organizations, various company CEO's have had their names and corporate addresses placed on this list.
The NRA's blatant action demonstrates their willingness to publicly declare enemies to their goals as a lobbying group. Such a declaration has a twofold purpose - to incite hostility towards said organizations from 'loyal' NRA members and re-direct donations from charitable groups to the gun lobby.
For their increasingly intolerant and hostile rhetoric and actions, the NRA should be labeled as a hate group.
