label products that contain Trans fats and Make the ingredients list of a product easier to read and understand

Created by R.M. on September 12, 2014

the FDA should change the federal regulation for trans fats that states if a product contains less than one gram per serving it doesn't have to be labeled, to trans fats must always be labeled no matter the amount per serving.

Ingredient list on a food products should be changed so it will be easier to read, instead of being in fine print below the food label it should get its own label which list each ingredient in bold black letters with a white background. chemical names should have simple name next to them in parentheses Ex: Maltodextrin(sugar), Glucose(sugar), Hydrogenated oils(Trans fats) Aspartame(artificial sweetener), including GMOs
ex: GMO*enriched white Flour
