With a recent surge of secession-related petitions finding support through this website, we feel it necessary to react appropriately based on the lessons learned after the civil war of the 1860s. Our problems cannot be solved by abandoning the Union and failing to collaboratively approach realistic solutions through honest debate based on facts. United we stand, divided we fall.
