Any device labeled as a "Smart Phone"(ex. Iphone, Samsung Galaxy etc..), " Tablet PC"(ex. Ipad, Kindle, etc...), or any other device that can contain, processes, and displays data should be labeled as a "Personal Computer."
As such, any U.S. Citizen who owns such a device, will have full rights as to what he wants to do with it, such as unlock it, modify it, or place new software/Operating System on it.
The purpose is to promote better technology's and not hinder the creativity of the common person.
