Westboro Baptist Church is seen as the general public as a hate group. The church's motto is even "God hates fags". Althout the Church's hate towards the LGBT community is controversial, it is not why this petition is being made. The reasoning behind this peitition is to help protect the funerals of the troops. The attendees of WBC literally go to the funerals to picket and verbally abuse the fallen soldiers. Sign the petition to stop the hate at military funerals.
