This petition affects all people of all races that reside within the United States. De facto segregation is, unfortunately, something that everyone in this country faces. Groups that intentionally put distance between races should be eliminated and looked at for acts of treason. This country faced such a divide that ended in 1865, under the promise that we would become 1 nation. Since 1865 Americans have made great leaps and bounds towards human progress, however, 1 issue that has never gone away is the devaluation of human life based on race. Please address the current division of our country, address issues of de facto segregation and please address groups such as the KKK, Black Lives Matters movement, and any other violent hate group that hides behind the 1st amendment.
