Lakota Sioux and Mescalero-Chiracahua Apache Territorial Restoration Order.

The goal of this act shall be the restoration of major tracts of federally owned land to their rightful owners, the Native American Nations of North America. All Forest Service and BLM properties in the Black Hills of South Dakota shall be immediately transferred to the jurisdiction of the Pine Ridge Sioux Reservation. In New Mexico, lands of the Lincoln National Forest shall become part of the Mescalero Apache Reservation, as well as lands contained in Western New Mexico which were part of the former Warm Springs Apache Reservation. Also lands in Arizona in the Chiricahua and Dragoon Mountain Ranges under the Management of Coronado National Forest shall be placed under the total administrative authority of the Mescalero Apache Tribe.
