This man is an Iraq War Veteran. He was peacefully protesting in Oakland when bystanders said he simply fell to the ground after being hit by a police "projectile." The theory is that it was a rubber bullet that hit him in the head.
This man who fought for our country and did nothing wrong is now in an Oakland Hospital in critical condition and near death.
This is a severe violation of every American's constitutional rights. Are we no more free than the people of Egypt or Syria? This matter MUST be addressed!
