Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette's recent announcement that he is appointing Todd Flood to investigate the Flint water crisis is an outrage.
Flood is a donor to both Schuette and Gov. Rick Synder (R), and his office is defending Snyder against a class-action lawsuit about the water crisis.
The choice of Flood to investigate the crisis is clear conflict of interest and reflects corrupt crony governance at its worst.
The U.S. Department of Justice must immediately launch an investigation into the events in Flint. Rick Snider and Bill Schuette got Flint into this mess; they can't be counted on to fix it or ensure justice for its victims!
