With the majority of the U.S. population in favor of background checks for gun purchases and for an increase in gun control, smaller magazines and no assault weapons, congress continues to block any legislation that isn't approved by the NRA. Polls show that the majority of NRA members support background checks.
Congress' actions stink of influence peddling by the NRA. This deserves to be investigated and any members of congress found to have been so influenced should be openly and publicly prosecuted.
