We the people believe:
(a) decision to change Flint, Michigan's drinking water should not have been made by one unelected receiver;
(b) the governor of the State of Michigan and other state officials knew that switching the drinking water would lead to higher concentrations of lead in the drinking water;
(c ) that even though state officials were warned that the decision would cause health defects and various illnesses as a result of the contamination, they continued using the contaminated drinking water and assured the public that the drinking water was safe to drink.
This White House should launch a federal investigation into how this came to occur and how, after State officials were aware of the problem, they continued to allow it to occur to the detriment of Flint's citizens.
