Allow me to start by saying that I offer my sympathy and condolences to the family of Michael Brown and wish for them a peaceful time of healing after his death.
The events in Ferguson are surrounded by uncertainty. There are many questions that need to be answered.
This petition requests that a full scale federal investigation be made into the events leading up to Michael's death and the resulting protests, including the methods that police are using to control the crowds.
We also ask that any and all officers involved in the shooting of Mr. Brown be put on unpaid leave effective immediately pending the results of the investigation.
We request that the media be allowed the option to enter Ferguson, so that the events in Ferguson may become common knowledge.
