Eddy and Lea County NM Alliance are forging ahead to resolve america's need for spent fuel storage in accordance with Blue Ribbon Commission recommendations. With their proven community support for nuclear region, the technical expertise in region, and commitment to future and innovative approach to private company development so not long term govt support need, petition request for a 500 million grant to the Alliance and their partnering private company(s) for launch of development, design, environmental impact statement, NRC and NMED applications. Preferred funding instead of roads as permanency of jobs, leads to creation of other nuclear energy jobs. These jobs support small business and lower govt liabilities equivalently for spent fuel.
