We demand immediate prosecution of Anthony Bologna for pepper spraying a group of female protesters without cause. He has been cited previously for false arrest and civil rights violations during a protest in 2004 and he still has not been to court. He is not the only officer that has used unnecessary force during these protests. There are videos on YouTube showing police slamming protesters faces on the concrete and into vehicles (none fought back or were violent). We demand these people be punished and a full investigation of the NYPD be done in a timely manner with the results shown to the public. The U.S. is supposed to protect free speech. This is an example of what we are supposed to be fighting, "acts of terrorism."
