Launch an investigation into the criminal acts of the NYPD against the Wall Street protesters.

Created by S.B. on September 28, 2011

On September 24, 2011, the NYPD carried out unwarranted acts of violence against peaceful protesters. Many persons civil rights were violated. Rights that are protected under the Constitution of the United States. People were assaulted and illegally detained. We the People believe that this is an extremely important matter as it seems the NYPD were there to stop people from peacefully assembling, which is also a right granted to us under the Constitution. If the police can get away with this in New York City, then we can assume that police departments all over the country will be allowed to do this and that is completely unacceptable. We demand you launch a full investigation into the acts that occurred, the people that authorized these acts, and the people that worked to covered it up.
