In a perfect world, those responsible for getting us into war in Iraq under false pretenses would be punished. However, given the political repercussions that will likely never happen. However, we should establish a "truth and reconciliation" commission for the Iraq war so that future generations will know what really happened. Perhaps this will prevent future abuses of power. America prides itself on being a nation where no man, even the President, is above the law. Let us strive to live up to those ideals.
