Law enforcement agencies should be heavily regulated by outside divisions to help reduce police brutality.

With social media at an all time high police brutality is starting to gain a lot of attention. The officers that we used to put faith in to protect us we now fear. Law enforcement agencies lack regulation, yet every privately owned company that deals with the safety of others is always heavily regulated. There should be quarterly audits/exams where full due diligence of recent activity is closely inspected. If corruption is found by regulators those responsible should be held accountable. Without a regulatory system in place what else can we expect but corruption? The first step in cleaning up our law enforcement agencies is starting a federal regulatory department that examines them frequently. That is what this petition stands for.
