Law Enforcement Oversight and Reform will address two main concerns within the law enforcement community. 1) An impartial law enforcement oversight committee will serve as an additional line of defense against police corruption. Within any law enforcement organization there exists an internal affairs organization which "polices the police." If that organization clears wrongful police actions then that corrupt police agency can continue to maneuver unchecked. Thus, that agency becomes a destructive end rather than an agency that serves and protects the community. 2) A law enforcement reform committee will listen to both the needs of the people in a community and then look at the local law enforcement's answer to that community and the results that it produces. Let's get it done!
