a law were if a person lies about suicide,family issues,or life problems over the internet a punishment will be recieved

American citizens should not be allowed to make up lies on the world wide web about serious subjects such as suicide, rape, murder, human trafficking, or accusing other citizens of murder, reasons of suicide, and rape. These lies can potentially waste the time of law investigation of these subjects, and people who lie should be fined or sentenced to a few weeks of community service. The lies can also potentially influence murder, suicide,and rape on younger citizens. My organization created this petition because we have experienced people with these lies and we have been accused of false actions. We are not the only ones many citizens fall into these traps and it usually results in law enforcement getting called only to find out the person is innocent.
