Currently Veterans claims benefits can take over 4 years in some cases. While they have been working on the issue, this is still unacceptable. Veterans who have disabilities should not have to wait for years to start receiving their claims, potentially putting them in a state of poverty that they may never recover from.
We petition that at anytime if claims take over 1 year, that pay for Congress and the Senate should be suspended until measures are put in place to rectify the situation.
