The US tax code is archaic, bogged down by incentives, loopholes and surtaxes instituted over the years by Congress. It is a drag on our Economy.
The US is the most productive country in the world. There is no reason our government should not be as fiscally productive. We need a low, simple, equitiable tax code that lowers cost to do business in the US. We must act quickly to prevent the continuing loss of jobs to other countries.
Tax all income the same; earned income, dividends, captial gains, inheritance, and business whether partnership or corporation. Lower rates and eliminate all deductions Except for Charity, Tutition and "Personal Savings Accounts. All income earners file separately which eliminates the "marraige penalty"
