lead the congress to enact comprehensive legislation for the reform of our broken electoral system.

Created by M.G. on November 14, 2012

The many problems encountered by citizens seeking to avail themselves of their constitutional right to vote are a national disgrace. The contention that surrounds election results is a poison in our national dialogue. For these and many other reasons, we the undersigned, request that the administration take a leadership role on this critically important issue. Possible solutions could include (but are not limited to):

*Universal voter registration handled in a similar fashion to the registration for selective services.

*Population based distribution of voting booths/machines

*National early voting

*The removal of the Electoral College so that every vote truly counts.

*The creation of a politically neutral system for gerrymandering.

*Internet voting

*Modernized databases
