We the people request that the President of the United States lead Congress to expedite the hearings on the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013 and start deliberations in preparation for its passage.
As we celebrate our Independence, let us also celebrate the fact that America is a land of immigrants. Let us not forget that part of our core set of beliefs is that no matter where someone may be coming from, "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
